Why We Built This
Pricing a construction project shouldn't require filling out lead-gen forms or waiting for a contractor callback. We built BuildGrade so homeowners, investors, and builders can get useful cost ranges in seconds — for free. Our estimates are based on industry data for materials, labor, site work, and common add-ons like concrete, electrical, and insulation.
How Our Estimates Work
Every estimate on BuildGrade uses per-square-foot cost ranges drawn from national construction pricing data. We account for building type (pole barn, steel, stick-built), square footage, and optional add-ons. The result is a low–high range that reflects typical project costs — not a binding quote. Actual costs vary by location, contractor, and site conditions.
Who We Are
